Like our shopping district, our new website has Something For Everyone. With so many more features than the previous version. Read on to find out more.

For our shoppers on “The longest strip mall in the world”, we now have a few features of interest for you. It has links to all the major attractions within the area, such as The Museum of the Moving Image, Kaufman Astoria Studios, Socrates Sculpture Park and Noguchi Museum.

There are several local community organizations in the Astoria/Long Island City neighborhood that Steinway Street calls home. We have links and email addresses to all of them. Do you need to email your Congressman or Senator? Look under the community-organizations section.

For our dedicated shop keepers, store owners, vendors and merchants the new site will also help you. Surf around under the doing business tab. You will find links and addresses to a wealth of city, state, and federal based resources.

Are you interested in opening a new store on Steinway? There is now an updated real estate section that features an updated property listing with contact information for the agent. Within a simple click of the Real Estate tab, you can find all the statistics for our charismatic area.

Get up to date news on the happenings in the area with the news tab. Find out when the next street fair is going to be or when the holiday lights will be lit. Vallone, Jr.

Plans for new benches to be installed along Steinway Street have been submitted for approval to the Design Commission by the city Department of Transportation and the Steinway Astoria Partnership.
